Should you book a discovery call or send a written brief?
Either works — the choice depends on how much of the scope is already clear. A written brief moves faster when the goal and scope are settled. A call is better when the problem is still ambiguous and the shape of the project is part of what we need to figure out together.

We say so directly, usually in the first reply. Where we know a stronger match — a freelancer in a niche we do not cover, an in-house hire that would serve you better, an agency in a different region — we point you at it. Wasted sales cycles are not a courtesy to anyone.
